AI Integrator Chat

Interactive pages

Chat can draw an interactive page in a reply, or save one to Files that you can reopen and change.

Draw a page in a reply
An explainer, a diagram, or a small tool appears inside the message. It belongs to that message and is not saved.
Save a page as an artifact
A page you want to keep is saved to Files under Generated, in Artifacts. A card in the chat opens it, and it stays after the chat ends.
Keep every version
Ask for a change and Chat saves a new version. The Version menu opens an earlier one, and each artifact keeps its last 30.
Open it where you work
An artifact opens beside the chat on the web and the desktop, as a tab in Code's work pane, and full screen on iPhone.
Show live data
A saved page can read from your connected plugins and from AI Integrator's government and finance data. A page can read this data and can't change anything.

A saved artifact

A 3D model of the inner solar system that a model made and saved to Files runs in AI Integrator. It is dragged to turn and tilt it, then its speed is changed, it is paused, and its view is reset.

Example requests

  • Show how binary search works, and let me step through it.
  • Build a loan calculator I can reuse.
  • Show 2021 RAV4 recalls and complaints as a dashboard.
  • Make a flashcard game from these notes.
  • Show my open Linear issues by project.
  • Add a reset button and make the colors darker.

In Files, under Generated, in Artifacts. You can open one from there or from its card in a chat.

Yes, for reading only. When Chat saves the page, it lists the plugin tools the page may call. The app runs each call with your own connection, so the page never sees your sign-in, and a call that would change something is refused.

The data of the person viewing it, from that person's connected plugins. If a plugin isn't connected for Chat, or its sign-in expired, the page shows a message.

No. A page has no network access of its own, so it can't make requests or submit forms. It can load libraries from cdnjs.cloudflare.com, cdn.jsdelivr.net, and unpkg.com, and a library from npm must name an exact version.

Yes. Code can draw a page in a reply and save artifacts too. A saved artifact opens as a tab in the work pane.
