You can now ask for an image in any chat, in Chat or in Code, and choose which image model makes it. Remote also now uses your computer's graphics card for its video.
Images in any chat
Ask for a picture in a conversation and it appears as a card in the reply. You can pick the image model each time.
Remote video on the graphics card
When you watch a computer through Remote, its screen is turned into video before it is sent to you. On PCs with an NVIDIA graphics card, and on Macs, that work now happens on the graphics card. Someone who starts watching sees the current picture right away, and the device you watch from draws the computer's pointer itself.
Optimizing AI Integrator Remote explains how Remote video works.
Other changes
- Scheduled tasks are set up with a few menus: where the task runs, when, which model, and its options.
- An Agent's Home and its profile share one header, and voice calls show in a small bar at the top of the screen.
- Coding agents follow the chat's permission setting from the start, and pick up a change to it right away.
- Long replies from Codex and other coding agents keep going when updates arrive slowly.
