Government and Finance share several underlying skills. Disabling one of those child skills applies wherever the same skill appears. Quotes are on the separate Stooq and Alpha Vantage entries, rather than being implied by installing the Finance collection.
Compare data on consistent terms
State the company or instrument, period, units, and calculation. For filings, ask for the form, filing date, reporting period, and source link. For time series, specify whether the comparison should use levels, percentage changes, or another calculation.
Example: “Compare this company's reported revenue for the last three complete fiscal years. Use SEC filings, identify the fiscal year ends, and show the calculation for annual growth.” The SEC provides filing and full-text search tools for checking the original records. SEC filing search.

Use Chat for review and Code for repeatable work
Chat is useful for source retrieval, questions, and comparisons. Ask for a graph explicitly when the data tool supports chart output. Code can turn the same task into a local analysis script or report using its installed skills and runtime. Keep input data and calculation assumptions with the output so the result can be reproduced.
Historical observations and filing data are not a promise of a live quote. Record the retrieval time and latest observation, and preserve revisions or reporting differences in comparisons. The research examples here retrieve and analyze data; any connected account action uses its own tool permissions and confirmation flow.
