About AI Integrator#

AI Integrator has three products. Chat and Files use your account. Code runs in the desktop app on your Mac or Windows PC.

• Chat — conversations with the model you choose. Your chats, projects, memory, Agents, and scheduled tasks are stored with your account, so they’re available on the web, in the desktop app, and on iPhone.
• Files — your account’s file library, including documents you upload and audio saved from Read aloud.
• Code — a coding agent that works in a folder on your Mac or Windows PC. Code doesn’t require an account, and opening a project in Code doesn’t upload it.

Use the product switcher to move between Chat, Code, and Files. Switching doesn’t copy a Code project into Chat.

Start a chat#

1. Open AI Integrator Chat and sign in.
2. Click New chat at the top of the sidebar. On the web, you can also press N. In the desktop app, press Ctrl+N or Cmd+N.
3. To use a different model, choose it from the model name beside the composer before you send.

The sidebar also has Projects, Search chats, Agents, Scheduled Tasks, Skills & Plugins, and Images. Files is in the account menu. To learn how to edit, branch, and read replies aloud, see Chat.

Install Code on your computer#

1. Download the installer for Mac or Windows from Downloads, and install the app.
2. Open the app. If it opens to Sign in, choose use AI Integrator Code without an account.
3. Choose File → Open project…, then choose Open local folder, Clone repository, or Create new project.

To check whether a coding runtime is installed and signed in, go to Settings → Runtimes & Models. For more about the desktop app, see Desktop app.

Add your iPhone#

You can use Chat in a phone browser or in AI Integrator for iPhone. You can also pair AI Integrator for iPhone with the desktop app to follow a Code task and to use an app that’s already open on your computer. Pairing is optional.
