Sources for legal research
There’s no AI Integrator Law plugin. For federal legislation and regulations, use AI Integrator Government. For court opinions, statutes, PACER dockets, and citation checks, use the DingDuff connector, which requires your own DingDuff account. For drafting, use a document skill that you install for Code.

Set up a matter
Create a separate Chat project for each matter. In the project instructions, include the jurisdiction, the dates, the issue, and the citation format. Upload source PDFs to Files if you want them in your account. Use Code when a document must stay in a local folder and a skill on your computer can open it.
Ask for the documents before you ask for a conclusion. For example: “Find Federal Register items on this topic in this period. Separate proposed and final rules, quote the short passage that matters, and link the original.” For a bill, ask for the identifier, the version, and the latest action on record.
GovInfo’s list of collections defines what it covers: what’s available. If a search finds nothing, the document may still exist. Read the original and check its status before you rely on a summary. DingDuff’s citation check helps you find out whether a case is still good law, but read the opinion yourself before you rely on it.
Keep matters separate
Save facts about a matter in project memory, not in global memory. An Agent can keep a drafting format with its memory set to read-only or off, so it doesn’t save a client’s facts to your global memory. These settings control memory only. They don’t change the model provider’s retention policy. Read Privacy before you upload sensitive material.
On iPhone, Chat uses your account, and Remote uses the permissions set on your paired computer.
