Install AI Integrator on your Mac or Windows PC, open a project, and run and review a Code task.
Install and open a project
- Download the installer from Downloads, and install AI Integrator.
- Choose File → Open project….
- Choose Open local folder, Clone repository, or Create new project.
The folder you open is the project. Tasks, the file tree, the terminal, Browser tabs, and Git review all work in that folder.
Chat, Code, and Files
The product switcher lists Chat, Code, and Files. Code works without an account. Chat and Files require you to sign in. Signing in doesn’t copy your repository, vendor logins, or local task history to your account. Your plan covers Chat, not a coding runtime’s own subscription.
Signing in on your iPhone doesn’t affect Chat on your computer. If Chat can’t load, the desktop app shows Chat is still here with Back to Code. Code keeps working either way.
Run a task
The sidebar lists your projects and their tasks.
- In the composer, set Model and reasoning and Mode, permission, delegation.
- Type your request and send it.
- Follow the transcript. Files, Git, Agents, and Usage are in the task tools. Review and Browser tabs open in the work pane.
To open a terminal in the project folder, choose View → Toggle terminal.
Commit and Push are separate actions. Reviewing a diff doesn’t commit it. To learn more, see Code, Runtimes, Terminal, and Review.
Runtimes and sign-in
Code uses the coding runtimes installed on your computer. In Settings → Runtimes & Models, each runtime shows Connected, Login required, Not installed, Probing, or Degraded, with an install or sign-in action when one is needed. Enter passwords and keys only in the vendor’s own sign-in, never in a task message.
Use this computer from another device
Settings → Remote Access → Allow remote access is off until you turn it on. Then choose Add a device to pair your iPhone, another computer, or a browser. Each device gets the switches you allow: View chats, Send prompts, Approve commands, Git, Rename files, and Integrator Browser for Code, and View apps, Control apps, View screens, and Control screens for the computer itself. On a Mac, turn on Screen Recording and Accessibility in Remote Access → This Mac.
